Team Mopar Australia is preparing to bounce back after their mishap at the Top Fuel Spring Nationals in September. With two new cars on their way, testing will commence in December and continue through until their debut at the 2009 Summer Nationals in February.
“We plan on testing and getting a feel for the new Blue 2008 Pro Stock car at every opportunity we get” remarked driver, Lee Bektash. I’m sure there will be some differences between this car and the old one. I can’t wait to ‘saddle up’ and see what she’s like!”
Rob Moorcroft of Chrysler Australia is excited about the program’s direction and knows that success will come because of the hard work of everybody involved. “This is a great team at every level. I believe we will do well on both the marketing and competition fronts. Success doesn’t just fall into your lap, it takes a lot of work and commitment which everyone here possesses!” |
